• May 29, 2003: Scroll to the middle of the page for a lame put-down of "I'm With Busey" in USA Today, a worthless newspaper.  (Plus, it should read "Who's with whom?")  **I retract the previous statement about USA Today being worthless, having since been interviewed myself for the very wonderful newspaper (scroll to June 24, 2003).

• June 3, 2003: The Kansas City Star calls Gary's new show an "intriguing train wreck in the making -- though in a good way."

• June 11, 2003: Check out a glowing review of "I'm With Busey" care of The Oregonian.

• June 12, 2003: Read a fluffy review of "I'm With Busey" care of The Salt Lake City Weekly.

• June 13, 2003: This issue of Entertainment Weekly features a full-page ad for "I'm With Busey" as well as a short interview with Gary, which I've reprinted here.

• June 14, 2003: Here is a syndicated review of "I'm With Busey," care of The Albuquerque Tribune.  Sure, the reviewer points fun at the "obvious plastic surgery that has planed most of the expression off [Gary's] big, goofy face."  But the reviewer adds, "the good news is - it's fun, silly and at times, hilarious."  Nice.

• June 16, 2003: The Kansas City Star raves about "I'm With Busey"

• June 16, 2003: Gary and Adam were featured guests on Jimmy Kimmel live.  Gary was all crazy-like, and it seemed as if at any moment Adam might be forced to put Gary back in his cage.

• June 17, 2003: Here's what the New York Daily News has to say about "I'm With Busey."

• June 17, 2003: New York Newsday writes: "'I'm With Busey' is the fulfillment of a dream for [Adam de la Pena], but it's unlikely to be anyone else's dream show."  Well, it's my dream show, damn it.

• June 17, 2003: The Boston Globe pans "I'm With Busey."  I owe reviewer Matthew Gilbert one punch in the stomach.

• June 24, 2003: USA Today, a wonderful newspaper, mentions Busey World and quotes me in an article.  ROCK ON.

• June 24, 2003: Rob Thomas (no, not that one) from The Capitol Times gives "I'm With Busey" a mixed review.

• July 2003: The July issue of Esquire includes a very short section quoting Gary Busey on manhood.  Let me just say that it includes the quote "My teeth have been identified as a piano farm."

• August 2003: The August issue of Maxim includes a short interview with Gary talking about, among other things, one time when he snorted spilled cocaine off a dog.  The New York Post has published a short excerpt, and Maxim Online lets you see the beginning of the interview.
